Rocky Patel - Prodigy Torpedo
Tried one of these today, started off really bad...a musky peppery taste, but then it work its way up to a smoother taste. It had a fairly even burn and the draw was average.
I agree with Diamond E on this one. It starts out like a Pepper Stick and I almost TKOed it. However, I sucked it in and took one for the team. It did smooth out, but not enough to suffer through the pepper blast. Another overpriced, overrated offering from RP.--Mamey CS Score- 2
Here we really differ. I really like this cigar, but have not tried the torpedo. The oily wrapper, rich smoke. Will smoke one soon and provide review and CS rating
I confess that I'm not into pepper sticks, but if you are, you might like this cigar. While I enjoy a little spice to balance a cigar, this one was over the top. Pepper for the sake of pepper just doesn't do it for me. I prefer the classic Cuban cigar flavor, with a little spice, like you find in the Man O' War, PepĂn Garcias, Gran Habanos, Padillas, Padrons, and Santiago Cabanas.--Mamey
First quarter was a pepper stick. I love a spicy smoke, but this one had too much bite to it. The next 2 quarters of the cigar had this bland honduran tobacco taste I didn't much care for. Not impressed. --Danno
